Snow Tubing, Easter, and Monkey # 4 (update)

Well.. it’s been awhile since we’ve updated the blog.. been uploading pics to Facebook more lately and just haven’t had the time..

The paperwork for the adoption is proceeding fast.. we have our last visit with the social worker on Tuesday.  It looks like Yedda will be making the trip to Korea sometime in August though we are hoping for July…… we are still working on a name.. that is always tough for us..

I tried to get a couple pictures of Lucas and Mi-ra in their Easter outfits this morning but they we not cooperating very well and neither was the sun which was right in their eyes… Mi-ra turns into Princess Mi-ra anytime she’s wearing a dress..

We went snow tubing with a couple friends a few weeks ago……. Lucas had a great time and Mi-ra started to enjoy herself after a little bit of encouragement.   So far.. Lucas is definitely more of a snow bunny.

Blizzard of 2010 (part deux) and Lucas Birthday Party

Well... we received over 52" of snow in back to back storms.... our street finally got partially plowed yesterday, 4 days after the last storm.

Lucas had his Birthday Party a week late due to the snow.  He turned 4 last week....  He had a joint party with his friend Lucas... both turned 4 on the same day...

Brothers..... Ezra is doing very well.... he is already growing into and out of his 3-6 month old clothes....Lucas better watch out.. his little brother may be his big brother...

Blizzard of 2010…

Well.. so far.. we've gotten 30"+..... the snow piles on both sides of the driveway are 6' and we haven't seen a plow yet.... thankfully.. we have plenty of food, soda, and beer...

 

   

"Mi-ra's turn..."

Today was Mi-ra's first "mommy and me" class... It was "daddy and me" today but she had a good time. No belts or uniforms for the little guys just a lot of running around and following instructions. She had a great time. Between Lucas and now Mi-ra I have the feeling we will be spending a lot of time at Syksville tae kwon do the next few years.

Orange belt

Last week Lucas earned his Orange belt,.. Mi-ra starts "Mommy (Daddy in this case) & Me" karate classes today.
